Plastic liner inside
I bought this product to avoid metallic or plastic after taste. Nowhere in the description does it mention the plastic liner inside, that comes in direct contact with the food. I wanted a glass interior but it's not what this product offers.
Thermos hits a home-run with this one --
Forty years ago, glass Thermos bottles were the norm, and sadly, they've all but disappeared. Nothing, but nothing, can touch the thermal performance of a Thermos-brand glass vacuum flask (the technical term) -- so good we can store liquid nitrogen in them! It's time for a comeback. If you want your favorite hot beverage to be good all day -- really -- buy this Thermos. If treated with just a little care, it'll last plenty long.
love this thermos
This thermos does the job...forgot to drink my tea one day at work and opened the thermos the next morning...it was still hot!
The only downside is the mouth of the thermos is kinda small for chunky soups and it's glass lined. I've broken one so far but for the amount of hot soups and drinks I've carried in them...I can live with that.
