Alen® A350 - Allergen Reducing HEPA Style Air Purifier - 750 Sq. Ft.

The A350 Is A Breath Of Fresh Air
I purchased the Alen A350 after a lot of research. Our bedroom is quite large but we keep the unit fairly close to the bed. We noticed the improvement immediately (we've had for approx 4 months now). The next to highest speed is what we prefer and it is not super quiet but, hey it's a fan - what do you expect? When we want, we drop the fan speed down a notch and it is quiet. Very simple to operate right out of the box, and is effective. I recommend.

Works well
The room with this product in it gets cleaned periodically, and we noticed a significant reduction in the amount of dust on the furniture, so I would say this filter is working well. Online sites rate this Air Purifier as removing over 95% of air borne particles in a controlled situation, making it comparable to $600+ models, and far superior to the products you see on those info-mercials.

I would say this product is great, but you should do your own research.

Alen A350 works as advertised
My wife requested that we purchase this air filter to reduce allergens and dust in our (partially-built) home's air. I was skeptical about the unit due to the cost and several reviews (at various vendors) citing noise and poor fan bearing performance; appealing to me was the size, shape, and ability to wall-mount it. So, with a little goading from her, we decided to accept the risk and try it out.

It is an impressive little unit! We run it on setting 2, which moves quite a bit of air in near-silence, when we are home. Settings 3 and 4 are fairly loud, but I think that is unavoidable given the massive amount of airflow these settings generate versus the size of the unit. The unit is now in constant use (again, almost exclusively at setting 2 with the ionizer active) for over three weeks without any change in performance, so I expect we will not have any problems with it in the short run. The room in which it is located is 650 sq ft. Dust reduction is substantial, but...
