Makes perfect cute heart shaped waffles
The only reason I'm giving this 4, instead of 5 stars, is the plates are NOT removable so they are very hard to keep clean.

I really like this little waffle maker....especially since it is non-stick, made WITHOUT the toxic chemicals. The waffles turn out perfect. It makes nice size waffles and they are ready quickly.
Is it really eco-friendly? EuroCuisine doesn't know
I read on another website that this waffle maker had a ceramic coating, thus making it free of the toxic nonstick chemicals used on many brands. It claims to be PTFE and PFOA free, but the cooking surface does not appear to be ceramic coated. Nowhere on or in the packaging does it specify what it is coated with. It looks and feels like some form of plastic coating, rather than ceramic. If anyone has more information about this, please share. With such limited information, I'm inclined to return it.
UPDATE - I contacted EuroCuisine, the product's maker, to ask what it is coated with. Sadly, the company representative who responded indicated they don't know what it is coated with. (Makes you wonder how they can claim it is eco-friendly?) He said they would contact the factory in China that manufacturers the waffle maker in an attempt to find out what coating is used.
