decent product
The price on this filter is nothing special, but it qualified for free shipping, which helped complete my order. It is not like the original equipment even though the model number is the same. The black cap which is attached to the top of this filter replaces the removable rubber disk on the original filter, so you can't use the disk when replacing the plastic nut. As the picture shows, the pleats are open, not like the original which has rubber rings top and bottom. Neither of these items are a big deal or should affect the vacuum's performance. I just thought it was unusual for Ridgid to change its replacement parts.
Works fine
I bought this as a replacement for the filter in my Rigid 4 gallon Pro Vac Wall Mount System. The label on the vac called for a VF3500. Even though this one did not look like the one I was replacing, it fits and works just fine. The price was right at Amazon and it saved me the hour of digging around in Sears or Home Depot trying to find it or worse yet, having to ask the vacant eyed store employee for assistance.

You can get the same one at any Home Depot for $10 less! and Depot ships free after $45, but three for $45 for the price of two here . . . or anywhere for that matter. Sears $52 each, are you kidding me?
