Never Again Will I Buy This Brand
Steer clear of Frigidaire and their Gallery series microwaves! We purchased a Gallery series microwave in 2005. It looked nice, and has functioned just fine. However, shortly after the warranty ran out, the glass window in the door detached. On further inspection, one of the cheap, plastic clips that held the glass panel in place had broken off. The fix that was offered to us was to buy a replacement door for about $80. This we did.

Once again, everything was fine for awhile, then the same issue happened with the replacement door. This time my husband tried gluing the window in place. It looked awful, but held for awhile. Eventually, we replaced the door again. Please note that the warranty period on the replacement parts is only 90 days. I can see why they have such a short warranty period. They know their doors aren't going to last much longer than that.

We are now looking at having to replace the door a third time. Of course, doing so would be ridiculous at...

Broke after 2 years
I really loved all the features on this microwave. It ran great, for 2 years. Then it broke, the fan and magatron just stopped right in the middle of cooking. I had a repair company come out and look at it and they said the transformer was bad, it is connected to everything with parts and labor it would be $200 to repair. I have had a bad experience with Frigidaire. I bought a Gallery Series Refridigerator, dishwasher and microwave and a Professional series stove in Jan 2010.. every piece has been repaired. Customer service was friendly but unhelpful. I didn't by the extended warrenty, cause I never had any of my $100 microwaves break. I have a the trim kit and matching other appliance and don't want to invest in a whole new set up so I am going to buy another one and cross my fingers. Probaly will get a home warrenty plan just to get coverage this time.

Frigidaire?Never!
I would never, ever buy Frigidaire products.I suggest you go to their own Facebook page to see the volume of complaints which go unanswered.Our local supplier will no longer carry their products due to poor build which means their service dept is cnstantly on repairs for them.we got 3 appliances all of which have gone wrong under warranty including the pump on a dishwasher-and the part didn;t come for weeks so imagine the stench.
Our supplier only really recommends Maytag highly and NEVER NEVER FRigidaire.
